New Patients

Dear New Patients,

Welcome! The entire staff would like to welcome you as a new patient. We will do everything possible to provide you with comfortable, quality care. Our practice is dedicated to "Preventive Dentistry" - to helping you keep a beautiful smile for a lifetime.

OFFICE LOCATION, HOURS, AND APPOINTMENTS: The office is located in a renovated, historic home on Route 146 at George Drive, across from the Shenendehowa School Campus. The office is open by appointment:

We make every effort to respect your valuable time by staying on time. (On occasion we may be delayed by a patient with an emergency problem; please be understanding.) In return, we ask you to please notify us as far in advance as possible if you cannot keep an appointment, so the time may be given to another patient. Thank you!

FIRST VISIT: Your first visit will be tailored to your individual needs and past dental history. There will be a complete examination including an oral cancer exam, and a review of your medical history. We may then clean your teeth and take diagnostic x-rays. Please bring previous dental records and a list of current medications, so that we may provide you with optimal care.

EMERGENCIES: If you or your family is ever in need of emergency care, we will provide it promptly. If you have a problem, please call as early in the day as possible and we will see you that day, if needed. After hours, please call the office to get the pager numbers of the doctors.

SAFETY, COMFORT, AND QUALITY CARE: Our office has modern equipment in a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. The entire staff attends continuing education courses on the latest techniques and materials to provide you with the best possible care. We are experts in the fields of whitening, implants, bonding, sealing, special preventive care, and beautiful and natural looking crowns and bridges. We also use the latest in special sterilization and barrier techniques to assure a safe and clean office.

FINANCIAL POLICY AND INSURANCE: We want you to understand what dentistry you need, how it will be done, and how much it will cost. If you are not covered by insurance, you will be asked to make payment at the time of treatment. If you are covered by insurance, we will submit the insurance claim for you. However, we will estimate what the insurance will cover and ask for the amount not covered at the time of treatment. We do not have control over insurance companies; you are ultimately responsible for your own bill. Please bring in a filled out and signed insurance form to your visit. Special arrangements for crowns, bridges, and extensive treatment will be discussed with you. "Care Credit" is also an available optionlThank you!

CHECKUPS AND CLEANINGS: One of the most important aspects of good preventive dental care is regular checkups. We urge all of our patients to come in regularly. Most people should come in every six months and it is the most comfortable way to keep your teeth healthy and attractive, and your bills low. TEETH WERE MEANT TO LAST A LIFETIME!!!
